A Post Box And A Love Story

# HerStory

There was no Whatsapp and Facebook at that time. It was not the times of chat, likes, kisses and breakups. It was the times of love, pain, love and pain. She loved Sathya, the man of her school truly without expressing him. She hoped for a miracle that someday he would propose her, as she also felt that he loves her too. She expected for that miracle till the last day of her school but it never happened. She never thought that when the school ends, she would never meet him again. Without knowing where he was now, she felt love and pain every day. When love was more, she wrote about her wishes for him in a letter. When pain was more, she cried silently and then wondered what she could do. She tried to make her words reach for him. In the letters, she wrote his name in the 'To-address' and dropped them in the post box. Her letters reached nowhere just like her wishes for him. As life proceeded, she got married and became mother too but unknown to everyone she continued writing letters. Whenever she wrote these letters, she loved her family more, feeling that by some ways she was lucky enough to experience all these.

# HisStory

The post man of that area was a honest man and would never read others’ letters. But since, the ‘To-address' had his name, Sathya, he read her letters secretly. And always wondered how lucky that boy must be to be loved by a girl like this without knowing that he was the guy in the letter and it was written by the girl, whom he loves more than anyone in his heart secretly… Whenever he read her letter, he felt his heart to be light and when he reached his home, he tried loving his wife and family more.

# TheirStory

They both loved someone and it was by this way they started loving everyone. They felt pain and were hurt. And it maybe because of that they couldn’t allow their loved ones to feel the same… They loved some strangers but by this way they ended up loving themselves and everyone eventually…

My Nation My Pride: The Evolution Of Indian National Flag

First National Flag composed of three horizontal stripes of the colors red, yellow and green

It was hoisted on August 7, 1906 in Calcutta (now Kolkata) in the Parsee Bagan Square (Green Park). It is known to be the “Unofficial Flag of India in 1906″.

The Second National Flag, The Berlin Committee Flag, hoisted on August 22, 1907.It was raised by Madame Cama and her exiled revolutionaries in Paris. Keeping everything same to the first version, only the lotus in the first strip were replaced with seven stars representing “Saptarishi”

The Third National Flag was hoisted during the Home Rule Movement, in 1917This flag was hoisted by Lokmanya Tilak and Annie Besant in 1917.

The Fourth National Flag proposed by a national youth at All India Congress Committee. Gandhiji suggested to add the white strip and the spinning wheel to represent all the other communities and the progress of the nation. The red and green colors in the flag represented the two major communities, Hindus and Muslims. It was proposed and adopted in 1921, when the youth met Gandhiji at Bezwada(now Vijayawada).

The Fifth National Flag is marked as the landmark in the history of the National Flag as it gave the “Tricolor” to it.In 1931, It was adopted as the National Flag. This flag contains three strips of the color saffron, white and green, along with the Gandhiji’s spinning wheel. This flag was also the battle ensign of the Indian National Army.

The Present Tricolor National Flag of the Nation was adopted as the Free India National Flag on July 22, 1947.Initially being the tricolor flag of the Congress Party was later adopted as “Tricolor Flag of Independent India”. The importance of the colors of the strips remained the same. It was only the spinning wheel replaced with the Dharma Chakra of Emperor Ashoka, depicted to be “the wheel of the law”.

*An Open Letter To Every Girl*

Dear Girls,

Feminism is the thing for which the world is going goozy about, but this is not a letter promoting Feminism because I am not a Feminist. Yes, you read it right, I am not the one who use to add, 'Respect Girls' at the last of everything, I write on social media. Neither I declare 'Man', a villain in every story of cheat, rape & humiliation of women. It is not because, I also belong to the same category, but It is because I am not the one writing about women empowerment, freedom of living and freedom of choice every time, neither I care to decorate my poetry with flattery lines highlighting your beauty and dress sense. The true Manhood surpasses all the spirit of feminism & chauvinism, and that's what I possesses. I am a Man, who may flirt with group of girls, but never consider flirty girls, a bitch & characterless. I may smoke a packet of gold-flake in a day, but when you will smoke, I will not doubt on your character. Yes, sometimes I spent money to share bed with a woman, but I don't abuse prostitutes in the day light. You may find me masturbating secretly on my bed, but I don't rape. I can search for pictures of nude models, but I will not stare at your bra strips, if it will be highlighting in the bus. I can make you drink countless number of vodka-shots on your birthday party but I will not take your advantage after that by considering it as an Opportunity to make your MMS to get fame among my friends. Either I will break the jaw of the guy doing this. I know I can make you fall for me, even if you will be sober. We are made to be attracted. And when you will marry me, I will tell you to cook food for me, but I will not criticise it's taste. Yes, I will be wanting more than two children, but only if I will be capable enough to feed you all. I will demand, but will not tell you to demand less. Lastly feminists says, Lust is not their cup of tea, but I do have lust and sometimes I crave to have sex, it's a natural feeling, but yes I will never fulfil it by raping you. Why will I ruin a life for my own benefit? I know how to have hold on my desires. I know how to make you feel comfortable, when I will see you in the hot pants in the late night on an empty street. You are a Human being with five senses and atries & veins in heart just like me, so why will I differentiate? Most Importantly, I know how to be a MAN. And more than that It hurts, when you add rapes and cheats with my name. Yes, there are some waste of space raping five year old girls, throwing acid on the nurse & calling you a child-bearing machine, but they are not Man. How could they be, when from childhood they are given the pill of Manhood from their Mother. They are defected souls and corrupt species. Stop relating their qualities to us. So next time when any one among those pass sexually coloured comments on you, don't think that they are Man & accused us. Just stand for yourself. Stand against it. Be a Mandira bedi, be a Saina nehwal and be a Marry kom, that world will not dare to touch you. You are no more a fragile doll. The heat is on. the lust is high. If you want to live a free life, just don't let those retards feel you are weak. You need no one to be protected. The little effort will be enough to make a rape free world and we Men are invariably there to motivate. I will consider you strong, when instead of hiding behind me during attack, you will make those criminals flee themselves from you. With the little heat in your heart, you can burn all the negativity from this world. Apart from being beautiful, you are strong too. So just begin and never stop. :)
